For almost 30 years now, Caring House has been making the cancer journey a little bit easier by serving as a place of comfort and community for Duke Cancer Institute patients and their caregivers. If you have never been to Caring House, the magic truly comes to life the moment you walk through our front door. From complimentary massages and in-house support groups to volunteer-provided community dinners, Caring House provides more than a house – it’s HOME. With an ever-increasing patient load during the current health crisis, the need to provide a safe haven to immunocompromised individuals has never been greater. However, if there is anything 2020 has taught us, it’s that when there is a need this Caring community always steps up to the challenge.
