Making Room To Heal

Future Caring House Expansion building

Caring House’s Capital Campaign for Expansion

The number of patients at Duke Cancer Institute seeking affordable accommodations during their lengthy treatment has risen significantly since our house was built over 30 years ago. We’ve worked towards a solution. We are excited to finally launch our Public Phase of our “Making Room to Heal” Capital Campaign for Expansion, which will double our capacity to serve even more patients. Will you join us as we prepare for the next 30 years of service?
95.1% $8.08M Raised
Our Goal $8.5M

Caring House is more than just temporary affordable housing during cancer treatment. Through community support, a healing environment, and guest programming such as oncological massage and art therapy, we are a home away from home for patients going through one of the most difficult times of their lives.

Thank you to the SECU Foundation of North Carolina for pledging a landmark $3million challenge grant to our Expansion Campaign!
