At Caring House, we are fortunate to have many individuals help us in a variety of ways to provide a comfortable, supportive, and affordable home for our guests. Some donate their time, some their talents, while others make financial contributions or provide gifts in-kind. Without any one of these, we could not continue to make Caring House a calming refuge for those battling cancer.

Volunteers

Volunteers are always needed to provide hospitality services and recreation options to our guests. We also need help with building and grounds maintenance and general home upkeep. Groups, such as university or church outreach groups, are needed to provide dinners for our guests on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Sometimes, we just need a re-stock on basic household paper goods and cleaning supplies.

Donations

Guests are asked to pay $30 per night for their stay. The actual operating cost per room per night is $82. We rely on incredible people like you to help us keep the nightly cost low. Any gift you provide is greatly appreciated.

Please consider a contribution to our 2010-2011 Care Giving for Caring House Annual Fund and join one of the giving recognition levels listed below.

• Archangel $10,000 and above
• Angel $5,000-9,999
• Cherub $2,500-4,999
• Sustainer $1,000-2,499
• Caregiver $500-999
• Friend $250-499

Your donation can be made in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one or former guest, and will be acknowledged this way in our annual donor listing. We want your gift to be special for you.

All donations are fully tax-deductible. Caring House is a NC non-profit corporation which has been determined to be exempt from federal income tax under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.
